ABOUT THE UNIVERSITY OF LAW BRISTOL
Our Bristol centre is situated in Temple Circus, at the heart of the city’s legal and business community. Only a five-minute walk from Temple Meads station, the centre offers a modern commercial environment with all the resources you would expect from a modern law school. There are excellent IT facilities, bespoke teaching rooms and law library, and practice rooms that mean you can put your skills and knowledge to the test.
The University of Law Bristol has extensive connections with local law firms and chambers, many of whom are regular visitors to the centre for talks and other events, all of which give you the perfect opportunity to get your law career off to a great start.
OUTSIDE THE UNIVERSITY
Bristol is ‘one of the best cities to live in Britain’ according to The Sunday Times – it’s a big city in a small space, easy to get around on foot or by bike. Bristol is famous for its music scene, year-round festivals, art and culture. It’s the city of independent shops, Banksy and Shaun the Sheep.
There’s a wide range of nightlife, from the classy Clifton village to the more student-centred Triangle, to the bars and restaurants along the iconic harbourside. The city holds a Purple Flag award for having a well-managed, safe and vibrant nightlife. There are theatres, comedy clubs and a range of music venues.
The new shopping centre at Cabot Circus is a ten-minute walk from Temple Circus and, along with Cribbs Causeway, offers all the main high street and designer brands. Historic Bath, stunning countryside and fun seaside resorts are within easy reach.
