ABOUT THE UNIVERSITY OF LAW LEEDS
Our Leeds centre is located in modern premises at the heart of Leeds’ legal and business community. It’s just five minutes’ walk from the railway station and in close proximity to some of the North’s leading law firms and barristers’ chambers.
Our Leeds centre is a fully resourced professional law school, offering teaching and support services to a very high standard. The city’s wide range of amenities are right on the doorstep and offer a varied choice of accommodation. The university accommodation office is available to help you find your perfect student home. There's also a state-of-the-art mock courtroom which students are able to hone their skills in.
OUTSIDE THE UNIVERSITY
Leeds is a lively and exciting city offering shopping to suit all tastes, vibrant bars and restaurants. It is home to a wide range of art galleries, theatres and museums and also to a number of major sporting venues including Leeds United FC and the world famous Yorkshire County Cricket Club at Headingley. The city has great road, rail and air connections to the rest of the UK and beyond. For outdoor pursuits, Leeds is close to the Yorkshire Dales and North York Moors national parks.
A VARIED SPORTS AND SOCIAL LIFE
There is an extensive selection of extra-curricular activities and events for you to enjoy inside and outside the university. This is a great opportunity for you to share your interests with others and create your own club or society.
Each year we hold annual events such as Freshers’ Week and a student ball. At the end of your course there will be a Graduation Ceremony which enables students to celebrate their hard work and achievements with friends, family and tutors.
STUDENT ASSOCIATION
The Student Association works in partnership with the university to influence, support and help you forge new relationships, whilst offering an essential service. It also helps to organise a whole array of clubs and societies for students, ranging from football and netball, through to yoga or trampolining, film & TV societies, debating clubs and human rights groups.
