ABOUT THE UNIVERSITY OF LAW CHESTER
Set in 14 acres of beautiful parkland, The University of Law Chester centre has all the facilities of a modern business school, with free parking, café and sports field as well as an outstanding IT and Resource Centre.
There is plenty of accommodation within walking distance. Chester is a historic city which is only a short walk away and offers a wide range of amenities and great transport links to the rest of the country.
The Chester centre has well-established links with law firms, both locally and in nearby Liverpool, Manchester and North Wales. Many are regular visitors to the centre for talks and other events, all of which give you the perfect opportunity to get your career off to a great start.
OUTSIDE THE UNIVERSITY
Chester’s historic walled city is home to designer stores, a world famous zoo (as featured in a recent TV drama) nearby outlets selling the best names in fashion and chic, trendy bars.
It’s a beautiful and interesting place to spend time in, whether it’s a leisurely stroll through the cobbled streets or having fun after dark in one of the local clubs.
Chester is set in the beautiful Cheshire countryside and within easy access of North Wales, home to stunning coastline and spectacular mountains. It’s a massive draw to hikers and climbers from all over the world.
A VARIED SPORTS AND SOCIAL LIFE
The University of Law Chester offers many opportunities for a rich social and sporting life, whatever your interests. You will have the opportunity to join a full programme of sports and social events, and even set up your own activities or societies.
Recent activities and events have included:

Each year we hold annual events such as Freshers’ Week and a student ball. At the end of your course there will be a Graduation Ceremony which enables students to celebrate their hard work and achievements with friends, family and tutors.
STUDENT ASSOCIATION
The Student Association works in partnership with the university to influence, support and help you forge new relationships, whilst offering an essential service. It also helps to organise a whole array of clubs and societies for students, ranging from football and netball, through to yoga or trampolining, film & TV societies, debating clubs and human rights groups.
