ABOUT THE UNIVERSITY OF LAW BIRMINGHAM
Our contemporary centre sits in the stylish Jewellery Quarter of Birmingham. The area provides a wide range of accommodation and local amenities with good transport links to other parts of the city.
In the centre, there are excellent IT facilities, light and airy teaching rooms and a law library along with quiet study areas, a café and common room. Birmingham has the most concentrated number of law firms and barrister chambers outside of London, so it’s no wonder that aspiring lawyers look to study and build their network here.
OUTSIDE THE UNIVERSITY
As the UK’s second biggest city, Birmingham boasts a large multicultural population many of whom are students. There are great transport links for exploring Birmingham’s hot spots, like the canal side hub of Brindley Place, the NEC entertainment venue, or the shopping mecca of The Bullring and Grand Central.
Set in the heart of the UK, Birmingham is also within easy reach of some great days out. The Cotswolds are the place to take a break and Stratford-upon-Avon is always worth a visit.
A VARIED SPORTS & SOCIAL LIFE
It’s not all work. We understand that extra-curricular activities provide a welcome break from studying, and at our Birmingham centre, we support a wide range of student sport and social clubs for you to join.
Some recent events and activities have included:
